Online Pharmacy Myths

The Internet is definitely one of the greatest inventions ever and it has opened up a whole new world for people in a way that they could have never imagined. The ability to share information so quickly and easily would have been unimaginable even 30 years ago. Like any great invention there are always a few negative sides that tend to hang around and are virtually impossible to get rid of. The Internet has opened so many positive things for people but it also opened up the ability for people to gossip and spread rumors quickly like never before. People, companies, governments and almost anything else have come under unfound scrutiny or public disgrace due to simple gossip and rumors that are often untrue. Online pharmacies are no different and have their fair share of rumors and gossip that have given them in some ways more popularity and in other ways a lot of bad, undeserved press.

One of the biggest myths behind online pharmacies is that they are all illegal. Yes there are illegal pharmacies out there but honestly a good 75% of the pharmacies that you find today on the Internet are perfectly legal and are operating within the boundaries of all US laws and regulations concerning the sale of prescription medications online. This being said, a person should not feel shameful or feel like they are doing something illegal when they buy their drugs from a discount online pharmacy. As long as the individual is buying a non-controlled substance like Tramadol, Viagra, any birth control pill, Soma, Fioricet and a slew of others then they are not breaking any laws. The media and some other individuals like to target most of the online pharmacies as being "rouge internet pharmacies" but in actual fact they are not. Many of these pharmacies even have their Internet servers located in the United States. If these pharmacies were so "rouge" and "dangerous" then why would they keep their servers in the US and not move them offshore? Even if an online pharmacy is located in another country does that mean that they are necessarily bad? No not at all. There are several popular online pharmacies that sell their discount prescription drugs all around the world and not just to people in the United States. So if their servers are located in England, Australia or Singapore or even in South America it does not mean that they are some evil entity trying to rip off the public as many in the media and some individuals would have you believe.

One of the easiest ways to tell if an online pharmacy is good or bad is just to go and look at its reviews on the Internet. Have you ever heard the saying "If a customer is happy they will tell one other person about their good experience but if they are mad they will tell 10 others about their bad experience"? Well the same goes for online pharmacies. Chances are if you do not find any negative comments or any comments at all about the pharmacy then people are pretty happy with them.

We hope this information gives you a little food for thought in regards to buying your prescription meds online. Remember to think logically and do your own research into anything first before listening to the so called "experts" that plague our world and fill it will gossip and lies. In that way you will be a more knowledgeable consumer and be able to protect yourself against any problems or unpleasant situations that may come your way.
